Former Idaho Governor and current Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne congratulated Boise State head football coach Chris Petersen down on the field Saturday following the Broncos 55-14 win over the Louisana Tech Bulldogs.
Dirk Kempthorne was confirmed as the 49th Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior on May 26, 2006 after serving almost two full terms as the Governor of Idaho.

Secretary Kempthorne is a graduate of the University of Idaho, an in state rival of the Broncos, and looks good in orange and blue.
